At Grace Baptist Church, we desire to show the Galway community the love of Jesus Christ and passionately believe the Gospel of Christ has the power to transform lives. We study Scripture verse by verse each week, that we might “observe to do” and that “through patience and comfort of the Scriptures, we might find hope.”
IS THE BIBLE STILL RELEVANT?
At Grace Baptist Church, our sole authority is God’s precious word. Some look at the Bible with fear and disgust, feeling its teachings bring bondage and legalism, but Jesus said the opposite! “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32). The truths of Scripture are eternal, the accounts of Scripture demonstrate both reality, God’s grace and healing. Most importantly, Scripture reveals to us who our Creator is. These are what we know to be true, but could we take another few moments to explain why we can trust the Bible and why we believe it’s inspired?
